Wood Group wins Kazakh contract
Wood Group has been awarded the multi-million dollar contract by Bechtel for providing an automation solution consisting of detailed engineering, control hardware and remote instrument enclosures (RIEs) for Tengizchevroil’s (TCO’s) Crude Storage Capacity Project at the Tengiz Field in Kazakhstan. The project will increase capacity of the tank farm to accommodate the upgrading of the existing tank farm.
This project continues Wood Group Mustang’s work with TCO in the expansion and modernization of their control infrastructure. “We are combining the expertise and capabilities of our Automation and Controls personnel in the UK, US and Argentina to design and deliver a cost-effective solution that meets TCO’s needs,” stated Michele McNichol, CEO of Wood Group Mustang.
