Hochief subsidiary, CIMIC Group company, CPB Contractors, has been selected by the Australian Department of Defence to deliver the C‐17A Maintenance Facility, Aircraft Apron and Associated Infrastructure Project at the RAAF Base Amberley in Queensland.

The contract will generate revenue to CPB Contractors of approximately $180 million. CIMIC Group Chief Executive Officer Adolfo Valderas said: “The CIMIC Group’s diverse capabilities and major project experience position us strongly for Department of Defence works, such as the C‐17A project.

“Our track record is underpinned by the effective completion of challenging building and engineering works, often undertaken in complex and fully‐operational environments, and without disruption to critical activities or services.”
