The UKCA Social Club was established to meet the needs of the resident expatriate population as well for those holidaymaking on the island.

The UKCA organises entertainment, hosts activity groups, provides reasonably priced food and drink, has a welfare section, book exchange and is a friendly place to relax, meet old friends and make new ones.

There is an active and varied social programme, as well as availability of informal advice on coping with the local official formalities such as tax, doctors and clinics, insurance etc.

The club publishes a free monthly magazine for 10 months of the year which details the regular activities and social programmes well as reporting on past events. It includes articles of general interest, member’s stories and update on Cyprus laws and regulations as and when received. In addition there is a weekly newsletter which is e-mailed to members.

The club premises are situated on the main coastal road leading from Pafos to Coral Bay, near to St. George’s Hotel, in the village of Chloraka.
