CRCC win $600m Egypt rail contract

CRCC (China Railway Construction Corporation) the second largest state-owned construction enterprise, reported that one of its subsidiaries, has been awarded $600 million contract to upgrade the Egyptian national railway.

The CRCC has been the builder of more than half of China’s rail links since 1949.

This rehabilitation and renewal project contract awarded to CRCC unit China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation by Egyptian National Railways is a major boost to the Chinese firm’s regional portfolio.

The deal value represents approximately 0.63 per cent of the company’s operating revenue for 2014 under the PRC accounting standards.

The options for education is another area that needs to be thought through.

Moving your child to a new country with a different education system can be a great opportunity to broaden their experience, but if they are close to key exams the timing can make this inadvisable. If you do take your family with you, it is important to decide between joining the local school system or choosing an international school.

Whether you will be living in a house or apartment, furnished or unfurnished, these decisions will affect what you need to take with you.
