Jacobs Wins Sipchem Facilities contract Saudi Arabia
Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced today it received a three-year contract from Saudi International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) to provide general engineering services at Sipchem’s Jubail Industrial City facilities in Saudi Arabia.
Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is expected to provide a range of engineering services on an as-needed basis for a portfolio of minor capital expenditure projects at the Sipchem facilities.
In making the announcement, Jacobs Senior Vice President Oil and Gas Bassim D. Shebaro stated, “We are proud to receive this contract, which builds on our growing presence in the Jubail Industrial City. Our extensive experience in the provision of similar services in Saudi Arabia and our recently established local presence in Al Jubail were key factors in helping us secure this contract.”
