SR Technics signs $30m maintenance deal with Airblue
SR Technics, one of the world’s leading providers of technical solutions to airlines, is pleased to announce that it has signed an engine maintenance contract with Pakistan’s second largest airline, Airblue Limited. Worth over USD
30 million, the agreement runs until 2022 and covers the maintenance and overhaul of the M56-5B engines used on Airblue’s Airbus A320 fleet. This new agreement builds on the success of a seven-year contract between the two
companies for the same services.
Commenting on the latest success, SR Technics CEO Jeremy Remacha said: “We are proud to be prolonging our relationship with Airblue. This highlights our commitment to invest in longterm partnerships providing high quality and cost-effective services to our customers.” Speaking on behalf of Airblue, Sadia Mohammad, Deputy Managing Director for Operations, affirmed: “Extending our existing contract by another seven years was the obvious thing to do. SR Technics has a proven track record when it comes to servicing Airblue’s CFM engines. It is a record which clearly demonstrates that SR Technics provides the Swiss quality levels and safety stamp at the competitive rates that Airblue and its customers prize greatly.
