SSH win Sewage Treatment Plant contract
SSH has recently been awarded the engineering consultancy services for the design of a Sewage Treatment Plant located in the prestigious Sabah Al Ahmad Sea City development situated in Khiran, in the south of Kuwait by developer La ‘ala Al-Kuwait Real Estate Company.
The Treatment Plant will have a capacity of 45,000 cbm/day and will utilise SBR technology. SSH will undertake Concept, Preliminary and Detailed Design as part of the services to be provided. SSH have engaged the highly-regarded process engineering company, P2MBerlin, as their preferred sub-consultant for the specialist elements of the project.
The system will include the use of UV and chlorine disinfection for the production of reusable treated sewage effluent which will be pumped back into the local irrigation network for use on landscaping in the surrounding areas.
