The Best Places In Europe To Visit For A New Year Ski Break
You can find some of the world’s most exquisite ski conditions in Europe. With the Alps stretching across Switzerland, France, Italy and Austria, Germany and more, Europe offers a great variety and diverse selection of ski resorts and experiences to enjoy.
Easily accessible via train, air and road for those travelling from outside of the EU, skiing in Europe offers something truly unique and memorable when it comes to skiing. With breathtaking mountain ranges and dramatic scenery, the resorts offer the perfect blend of traditional alpine charm, cosy chalets, gourmet dining and vibrant après ski culture – It’s not hard to see why a ski holiday is a must come the new year.
Whether you’re planning just a long weekend on the slopes, or intend to make the most of the soft, powdery snow for a week or two, it is not always easy to make a decision on where to visit and why.
To help make the decision a little easier, specialist tour operator, Inghams, part of Hotelplan, and exhibitors at Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show, which returns to Manchester Central from 16-19 January 2025 and Olympia London from 30 January – 2 February, have shared their top European ski suggestions for a new year trip.
