7 Habits That Will Help You Achieve Significant Success

For expats as for everyone it is important to develop habits that will help you in your life. Here are seven habits that will help you to achieve significant success.
1. Be accountable for your words
If you tell someone about your plans, follow through on them. And remember the main rule: less talk, more action.
2. Keep a daily journal
Write down at least one sentence a day. Keeping a diary will help you gather your thoughts, relieve stress and track your progress.
3. Never lie
Lies breed lies. Over time, you will get tangled up in this web yourself, covering up your own deception.
4. Make time for close friends
A friend of mine works with very successful musicians. He once told me, ‘You can have all the money in the world, but if you trade your friends for it, you will never be happy.’
Everyone needs to communicate with people who accept them for who they are and make them happy. Cherish such friends and don’t neglect them.

5. Don’t give up on your hobby
Your hobby may one day become something big. If you really enjoy it, improve your skills. So that many years later, you won’t say to everyone you meet with sadness in your eyes: ‘When I was young, I dreamed of becoming a guitarist.’
6. Exercise
Join a gym, practise yoga, run, ride a bike. Anything. The main thing is to be physically active. A person who struggles to climb a flight of stairs is not sexy.
7. Surround yourself with people who have already achieved what you dream of
If you don’t like how your life is going, take a close look at the people you spend a lot of time with. Chances are they just complain but don’t take action. Our environment has a huge impact on our behaviour.
