Installation and commissioning of field instruments and all associated equipment (plant construction and commissioning).
Inspection of electrical and instrumentation installations as approved in the Inspection and Test plan.
Loop verifications and testing.
Calibration of valves and instruments such as Gas analyzers, conductivity analyzers, PH analyzers, Level transmitters, flow transmitters, Load cells, Temperature transmitters, Pressure transmitters, Density transmitters, proximity switches, vibration sensors
Installation and configuration of profibus, fibre optic and Telemetry.
Installation and commissioning of VSDs; Danfoss, Siemens, ABB and Emerson drives
PLCs and DCS (Siemens, Allen Bradley, ABB & Kent)
SCADA (Wincc, In-touch, wonderware)
Installation and commissioning of Air compressors, conveyors, vibro-feeders , Variable speed drives, Stacking and Reclaiming systems, Fire detection & Suppression systems
Preparation and Interpretation of P&IDs, I/O lists, loop drawings, Hook up drawings, Cable schedules, Data sheets and routing drawings.
Use of calibration and test equipment such as Hart communicators, loop calibrators, digital multimeters, Oscilloscopes and Signal generators to configure and test instruments.
Assist in design changes as the need arise and implementing Site Instructions (SI’s);
Assist in updating construction drawings to as-built drawings as the work progresses.
Monitor all construction activities undertaken, for compliance with the requirements of the approved H&S Plan
