Development of design basis, System Architecture diagram, Scope of work and technical specification documents for engineering contractor, vendor and consultants. Identify/ quantify/review engineering deliverables, man-hour allocation, and format of delivery, time schedules and other requirements for execution of the work for the relevant discipline work.
Review the engineering/design work of contractors, consultants, vendors and junior engineers to ensure that these are in accordance with the company’s project standards, procedures and business objective.
Preparation of Technical query & Concession requisition.
Preparation of Material Requisitions, Purchase Requisitions, Material Take Off. review & commenting vendor data and incorporation of the details in engineering deliverables and Preparation Technical bid Evaluations (TBE)
Review of Civil / Piping General arrangement drawing, overall plot plan, equipment and piping layout, plot plan, underground services drawings, electrical cable routing, piping isometric, P&ID’s, PFD’s and process datasheets, Hazard Area Calcification.
Third party interface’s and Packages for various subsystems including HIPPS, MOV Control system, Compressor package, Flow metering system.
Responsible for all technical and discipline co-ordination activities related to the assigned projects from conception to handover to operations. This includes supporting cost estimation & control schedule, materials, design, compliance with company procedures & policies.
Well conversant with International regulatory codes & standards, engineering practices including API, NFPA, ISO standards, Qatar Petroleum, Shell DEP and KNPC Standards.
Extensively involved in onshore/offshore commissioning activities.
Actively participated various risk management process like HAZOP, SIL studies, with client and representatives of other engineering disciplines.
Experience in various Fire and Gas detectors including HSSD and Handled Fire and Gas mapping, zone segregation for addressable and non-addressable detector.
Knowledge in Ethernet Communication systems, Fiber optic communication network, required for oil & gas processing plants and terminals.
Actively participated various FAT and SAT activities for Instrumentation and control, Telecommunication systems

Responsibilities include identifying Design conflicts, raising technical queries, ensuring the deliverables meet project
Review various vendor’s documentation and drawings including PLC, DCS, ESD, F&G and VMS provide all necessary comments in order to meet the scope of the project.
Review of all Instrument Loop Diagram, Cable Block diagram, Cable schedule and Junction box wiring diagram, Interconnection Wiring Diagram
Responsible for carrying out SAT activities at site.
Support Construction and Commissioning department throughout the project execution phase.
Strong coordination with end user for all technical and construction issues.
