Summary
It is with reference to the above position that I hereby submit my CV for your perusal.
You will find that I have over 16 years of international project experience in management and supervisory roles. My roles all involved the management of contractors, project changes, progress, materials, clients, punch-listing and final handover. My belief in strong communications, constant planning and a respect for team involvement has served me well in all my past project successes. Having done a number of projects in difficult environments, I have developed a strong belief in “can do”, but never compromising on delivering a quality product to my client within budget and schedule.

Wetar Copper Project - E&I Construction Manager - EPCM
I rejoined the GRES team on the Wetar project, which saw me responsible for multiple construction zones spread over a 10km area. My day to day tasks were to oversee the main electrical contractor’s equipment installation and cabling works, coordinating with other contractors, vendors and material deliveries. I also had to write weekly progress reports, issue NCR’s, manage scope changes, issue SI’s and liaise with my client. As the project progressed I went on to be part of the commissioning team and also co-ordinated the final hand over packages.
GR Engineering Services Limited (United Kingdom) – January 2015 – October 2015
Hemerdon Tungsten Project - E&I Construction Manager - EPCM
After completing the previous project with GRES, they invited me to join their team in the UK on the Hemerdon Tungsten mine processing project. The project involved the construction of a plant with three stage crushing and two stage grinding circuit, with magnetic separation circuits, five LV switchrooms. Motor controls were a mix of both DOL’s and VSD’s and multiple Instruments controlled by various PLC’s from a control room based SCADA. The project was completed successfully and in time in August 2015.

Syama Expansion Project - E&I Construction Manager - EPCM
I was referred to GRES by my previous Project Manager. I joined the team at Syama in Jan 2014, as one of two E&I Supervisors.
The electrical contract was split into 2 multi-faceted stages, covering Medium Voltage, Low voltage, Controls, on an Ore Crushing, Grinding, Classification and Leaching circuit, The electrical system consists of 4 motor control rooms , with a mix of DOL’s and VSD’s controlled from a central SCADA system.
Ausenco (Kenya) – October 2012 – December 2013
Kwale Mineral Sands Mine - E&I Construction Manager - EPCM
I started my contract on the Kwale Sands project in Kenya, by initially being seconded by my employer, Ausenco, to the client (Base Titanium). This was to address the project’s early need requirements in terms of temporary HV/LV and borehole supplied water reticulation. I then moved into my role as E&I Construction Supervisor in March 2013. My duties included supervising and ensuring that all E&I construction activities, were to spec, design and within the project schedule to commissioning and final client handover.
The E&I installation consisted of 300km of cabling, 2 LV switchrooms, with VSD’s and DOL motor controls, and an11KV switch-room. 5km of 11kv overheard lines, 5 bore-fields and 2 catchment dam pump stations.
Ausenco (Zambia) – February 2012 – August 2012
Lumwana Copper Mine - E&I Construction Manager - EPCM
As a member of the EPCM team on the Lumwana Mine Expansion project, I supervised the construction activities of two electrical contractors on site. This was spread across approximately 6km, and comprising of 200km of power, control and fibre optic cabling.
This included the construction of 33kV overhead lines, trenching, 5km of conveyor systems, transfer stations and a new gyratory crusher, a number of step-down transformers feeding 4 motor control rooms as well as small power and lighting.
My involvement on this project was from the site establishment of the main electrical contractor, material deliveries, construction quality, testing, commissioning and finally beneficial handover to Barrick Mining(July 2012).
