Summary
Industrial, Commercial, Residential buildings, High rise buildings / Infrastructures / Waste water treatment plant, Pumping stations, sewage pipe lines / Desalination plant, water transmission pipe lines, water tanks / Dewatering activities / Sub stations / Tank farm / Power Plant.
Manages and will be responsible for planning & execution of construction operations on day to day basis in a manner that maximizes the cost efficiencies as well as HSE values.
Supervision, coordinate and control of all onshore engineering construction activities with the objective to support the site construction manager.
To ensure the construction activities to client required engineering specifications and standards in a safe and timely manner.
Review and approve all contractor’s detailed design, drawings and documents.
Follow up / monitor detailed Structural / Civil Construction activities including formulation and interpretation of engineering and material/construction specifications to ensure project goals and strategy.
Coordinate with other department of engineering to achieve common interests.
Review Civil / Structural design drawings and documents.
Manage and approve the site design changes as per site conditions.
Attend to and resolve constructions queries providing technical guidance and expertise to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met.
Identification and reporting of work not in line with project requirement to project management, Support the project management in processing, from the technical point of view, the concession request, project change notices and claims.
Review and verify the availability of the valid, approved construction drawings for proceeding construction activities in site.
Supervises quantity take – offs for contractor’s payments.
Assist commissioning team to achieve the project technical requirements.
Review and maintain QC documents of the daily activities and mechanical completion documentation packages, review and monitor as built.
Training of local nationals with well-developed coaching skills.
To ensure project HSE targets are met or exceeded.
Permit management [Permit to work], Preparation of progress reports (daily, weekly and monthly), Writing detailed job scopes, job cards and preparing work packs to proceeding site activities.

Co-ordinate with Person-In-Charge (PIC) from client rep and person performing works (PPW) from contractor rep as per Chevron’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Also making Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and arranging pre-job start meeting (PJSM) as per work specifications and Chevron’s safety requirements.
