Executive support to chairman of the NATO LCMG (Lifecycle Management Group) providing a co-ordination role on the UK side, creating stakeholder engagement plans and helping develop the strategic direction of the group.
Campaign Manager for DE&S wide recruitment of Systems Engineers covering senior management grades to junior manager grades. Working with PwC and other key stakeholders to recruit from national and international labour markets.

I have held 2 government procurement cards with a total budget of £115,000 a year.
I helped to manage and administer a document retrieval system, which holds close to 9000 technical reports crucial to the safe maintenance of the Royal Navy Fleet. Approx. 100 new documents are added each month.
I devise policy for the pro-active publication of information thus reducing the amount of time my colleagues need to spend answering information requests under the Freedom of Information act 2000.
I controlled a shared working environment with roughly 150,000 documents, which needed to be readily accessed by 250 people daily.
I have led high-level projects like the complete re-branding of the group I work within as well as developing a corporate brochure to further advertise our services to the wider MoD and external Defence community.
Installation of encryption software and maintenance of standalone (not networked) IT systems. Liaising with GCHQ on security issues affecting security policy within the MoD

My role is to provide a wide range of business management duties from accommodation to developing and designing the business plan. I am also working with the TechOffice work breakdown structure (WBS) to create a 'portfolio on a page' helping to create an easy reference point for our stakeholders showing the breadth of work we undertake. I am also helping to develop resource loaded schedules (RLS) to allow us to better forward plan our resource needs for each project we are and will undertake. The role helps to bring together the WBS and RLS for all projects ongoing and prospective to give senior management a clear picture of performance and better understanding of where resources, etc. should be directed. I am also currently trying to understand the overhead tasks that take resources away from delivery. This role also has an important analytical role to play in understanding the effectiveness of the business to help decide the strategic future of the business by analysing and improving the management information available to the senior team.

This role involved development of information management practices and principles within the team. It involved the creation of a large document database that was fully searchable by anyone needing to reference historic documents. This repository initially held 10,000 documents with continual growth seeing it close to 40,000 by the time I left the team. I had to liaise with numerous internal and external stakeholders so ensure legal requirements for information storage were met. I provided training (1 to 1) to all members of the team to increase knowledge to move the team from 'need to know' to need to share' which would enhance the delivery of the teams outputs.
