Summary

I am an experienced and certified in-service pressure equipment, welding and coatings inspector. The majority of my experience has been in petroleum refineries, petrochemical plants and Liquefied Natural Gas plant inspection; this has been the focus of my career for the past 25 years. I have also have experience in the associated construction and commissioning activities at refining facilities along with the implementation of inspection programs, equipment criticality and unit inspector duties of in-service equipment.

I have spent time working as direct hire resident inspector and as a contract inspector at leading petroleum refineries, petrochemical and Liquefied Natural Gas companies. My responsibilities also included Inspector and NDT Technician planning and supervision during normal operations and shutdowns. Prior to this, I was employed in the fabrication of pressure vessels and piping evolving from a steel fabrication background to quality assurance, quality control and weld inspection. This background has provided me with diverse experiences within the oil and gas industry.

I am certified to American Petroleum Institute 510, 653 and 570, NACE Certified Coating Inspector – Level 2, Canadian Welding Bureau Level 3 welding inspector and also carry additional Non Destructive Testing certifications from CGSB.

I hold dual Canadian and British citizenship and have worked internationally for the past 16 years and I am currently employed in China. My qualifications and international experience has enhanced my ability to work with varied cultures and operating environments. My career goal is to remain focused on refining equipment integrity, condition monitoring, inspection and assessment, as this is my area of strength and expertise.
