Qualification Level

Having worked in the financial services industry in the marketing and communications sector for over 5 years, I can say that my experience is varied. I have worked for both small and large budget companies and as a result I am familiar with the need to be adaptable and find myself excited by the prospect of a challenge. I have reported directly to the border and am comfortable with all levels of senior management.

I am proud of my attention to detail and as a result of my experience with companies of different sizes, budgets and industries. I have been able to develop skills beyond those of a typical “marketer”, including project management, research and analysis, and basic coding techniques. I enjoy working with a wide variety of people and am a multi-tasker, diligent self-starter and eager team player. I have worked in the USA, Europe and the Middle East and am not afraid to dive into new environments.

As a Marketing Manager at Close Brothers, I have to ensure that new products, approaches and opportunities in marketing and business development are actively pursued, promoted and implemented as appropriate. This includes assigning them to the relevant product and service teams. I have to manage, support and coordinate a team of ten. I manage key stakeholders, undertake research and gather competitor analysis for key market segments. This includes (but is not limited to) monitoring lead performance; developing the marketing budget; linking customer needs to outcomes; building long term business opportunities; incorporating the successful development of an integrated marketing budget; online digital strategy incorporating website, social media and Google AdWords.
