Commissioning and Operational Experience

• Involve in the commissioning of Saif Combine cycle power plant 225MW and Chashma complex 650MW,commissioned successfully, during commissioning my responsibilities was,
• Commissioning the gas turbine to full load on HSD and Gas fuel
• Online fuels change over & Island mode testing Remote load controlling.
• GT generator testing & Commissioning of rotary equipment like pumps, compressors etc.
• GTs axillaries testing & Gas turbine test i.e. over speed.
• Commissioning of STG 350*2MW and 80MW and its auxiliaries.
• ST generator testing & Generator cooling loop testing.
• STG loading and load rejection test, over speed test, control valve Tightness test, trip channel test.
• BOP commissioning i.e. cooling tower fan CW pumps, HRSG feed water pump, compressor etc.
• HRSG hydrostatic testing, wet preservation.
• R/O base water treatment plant 65T/h and ion exchange based 120t/h.
• SematicPCS-7 DCS control of Siemens steam turbine.
• PACiS HMI for power distribution control make AREVA.
• DCS control Baily infi 90 system for HRSGs and Balance of plant make ABB.

• Supervise shift activities and Control room operations i.e. switching, controlling, operation.

• Prepare incident / accident reports and other reports required by the departments.
• Keep accurate records and prepare daily and monthly reports.
• Ensures the completion of shift round checklists, routine daily/weekly/monthly test checklists and equipment change-over checklists, etc.;
• Communicate with Owner, NPPC (load dispatch) and SNGPL as per Plant requirements.
• Responsible for the generation and sending the Plant’s daily data requirements in a timely manner to all applicable parties;
• Performs functional testing of plant systems and components.
• Operate the plant efficiently within a varying range of load conditions.
• Perform COD/ ADC, knowledge of commercial contracts and agreements (PPA)
