• Delivering flawless project successfully on time with agreed schedule and budget to control cost.
• Assist in development and approval of construction and commissioning ITP’s/QIP’s (Inspection Test Plans / Quality Inspection Plans). Preparation and Monitoring of RFI.
• Elaborating Welding Geometry, Welding Procedure Specification in accordance with Procedure Qualification Record followed by Preliminary Welding Procedure Specification (PWPS).
• Maintaining Production Tests and Welder Qualification Tests (WQT) and Consumables records.
• Verification of NDE requirements and techniques (RTFI, UT, MT, VT, PT, PMI, Vacuum Box testing).
• Verification of Heat Treatment Procedures (Pre-heat and PWHT).
• Verification of Laboratory Mechanical Destructive Testing (Tensile, Bending, Hardness and Impact).
• Establishment of Quality Management System (QMS).
• Implement and promote awareness of Quality principles and concepts.
• Liaise with the Client/contractor/sub-contractor/vender Quality Representative as appropriate.
• Conduct review of project technical queries and standard deviation requests.
• Assurance of all technical documents relative to site quality control is current status.
• Coordination with QA/QC and construction team and provide support to in-country site based engineering team on all quality issues. Support to 3rd party inspection (TPI) coordination process.
• Participating in Management of Change (MOC). Participating in new Project Kick-off Meeting (KOM).
• Recording Minutes of Meeting (MOM) for action as per meeting agenda.
• Implementation of QA&QC Norms/Rules/Regulations.
• Evaluation of Key performance Indicator (KPI) to keep project on track.
• Plan and partake in internal and supplier audits and conducting supplier evaluations.
• Review construction and commissioning work-packs prior to site issue and post implementation.
• Prepare and review of Method Statements or Procedures for fabrication and erection of piping and equipment, Hydrostatic testing procedure, Painting Procedures, NDE Procedures, etc.
• Maintaining up-to date Calibration of Equipment/Machines/gauges/PSV/Pump/Compressor and keeping record of valid Certificates.
• Determine inspection level of product and undertaking all site inspections when required.
• Review and approve product/material requisitions for procurement and validate Quality Control and certification requirements. Documentation verification for materials purchased by vendors.
• Material receiving inspection as per approved latest IFC drawings, BOM, MTO, MTC, MR, PO, DN, MAR, IAP and Out-bond. (Material receiving inspection includes Visual, Physical, Dimensional, Traceability, Identification, Chemical composition, Mechanical testing and Pressure testing results).
• Carry out witness inspection of material storage, preservation and handling.
• Attending Equipment’s Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
• Review the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) / Safety Instruction Sheet (SIS).
• Review of O&M Manuals (Operation and Maintenance Manual).
• Review of Original Equipment Manual (OEM) for repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Complete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses.
• Issue of NCR, Track all non-conformance reports and undertake remedial action.
• Failure Investigation and Identify Root cause analysis (FRCA), Preventive and Corrective actions.
• Ensure the satisfactory reporting, tracking and closure of project corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate and chair the QA&QC site weekly meetings with the projects QC personnel.
• Process Inspection and witness the fabrication and erection construction works.
• Review of Weld Maps on IFC isometric drawings. Fit-up Joint Inspection (Route Directions, Dimensions and Elevations as per IFC drawings, Alignment check, joint Root gap and Bevel angle) by using tools such as Vernier caliper, HI-LO gauge, Cambridge gauge and measuring tape, etc.
• Welding and Weldments Inspection for discontinuities or defects.
• Verification of bubble leak test for piping branch connection pads.
• Witness Flange Bolt tightening and torqueing to ensure proper fastening of system.
• Compilation of Reports, Records and Line Inspection Summary / Welding-Joint Summary and blind-flange list register for a Good Quality Documentation System.
• Preparation of Punch Points and to make sure their rectification.
• Preparation, Submission and Verification of Hydrostatic Test Packs and Tie-In Test Packs.
• Inspection of pipeline internal cleaning by using pigs at scrapper launcher and receiver manifold.
• Interfacing multiple disciplines of EPC related to Mechanical, Structural, Architectural and Civil.
• Metal Surface preparation and cleaning by sand blasting procedures or conventional techniques.
• Paint coating specification inspection by using Elcometer for DFT check (Dry film thickness), Holiday test for defects identification and RAL number for color coding.
• Inspection witness of Flushing, Air blowing, Lay-up and reinstatement of system.
• Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) / Safety Walk-through prior to Commissioning.
• Ensure the closure of Quality requirements for project close out and verify completeness of documentation for handover of Dossier to the client. Quality input to project lessons learned.
