Duties included everything from rigging and installation of key components of the build process, setup and teardown of all weld equipment, layout and fitting of steel plate and platforms. As well as the post weld heat treating on vessels.
• placed on a tank construction crew to assist in the building of two storage fuel tank floors
• Post weld heat treating for piping. on this job had the opportunity to train co-workers on the setup and procedures as well as how to operate the equipment
• Float cell construction. Blueprint reading was essential.
• Horton radiography crew. we would shoot multiple pipe welds each night on piping welds using a ir192 source in a model 880 camera
