Site Electrical engineering design – AP Jizan IGCC project site (Saudi Arabia) – World’s largest integrated gas combined cycle gas complex for gas supplies to Saudi Aramco. Equipment involved 180MVA, 230/34.5kVA transformers (19 Nos), HV Synchronous motors (7 Nos MAC motors of 60MW, 6 Nos DGAN motors of 44MW & 6 Nos BAC motors of 13.8MW), LCI control units (7 Nos), Power Distribution Centers (8 Nos), Auxiliary motors (lots), UPS, batteries, Generators(2.5MVA), MV/LV busducts, 230kV HV cables (1000 of length 16.8KM), 34.5/13.8kV MV cables, MV/LV switchgears, LV MCCs, VFDs, lighting, cabling, grounding and interface engineering.
Review electrical shop drawings and vendor drawings for compliance with contract documents.
Review electrical materials submittals for compliance with contract documents.
Review electrical specifications and calculations for conformance with contract documents.
Implement, manage and control the project electrical quality assurance plans.
Review as built drawings of electrical works, operations and maintenance manuals and warranties.
