Last Updated: 5th June 2017 (over 5 years ago)
Summary
I have been working for more than 2 years as a rotating equipment department manager as well as 3 years construction site manager. I bring 17 years of experience as a field and site engineer involving several disciplines in the field of oil and gas construction, commissioning, and operations. I bring with me a breadth of expert knowledge and practical experience as a technician and a field and site engineer. This experience in the field qualifies me to manage and lead a team of engineers and technicians because I enjoy teaching and mentoring less experienced technicians and engineers.
Indeed working over 17 years directly involved in different disciplines in several oil and gas construction and operation projects as a site or field engineer made me knowledgeable as a high-qualified engineer which is required be successful as a site and field engineering activities and issues. In other words, I am familiar with all of the key equipment and issues that may be utilized in power plants, gas and oil refineries and petrochemical plants as well as process issues generally. So I am capable of giving effective input as a site and field mechanical engineer and inspector.
From a management point of view, I am capable to persuade subordinates and contractors to work more effectively, as well as, make them have enough motivation to carry out all of the given duties and activities in a systematic and cost-effective manner. I can supervise them to meet the company's objectives.
I believe that I am highly-qualified and certified to fulfill all of the requirements for the position. I have a good track record of success in my two last positions at Bazian Refinery and Atrush CPF with TAQA GLOBAL. I would like to highlight a few of my accomplishments that I am particularly proud of:
Recycling compressors as key equipment working at high efficiency for more than 18 months;
Planning and managing spare parts orders, so that my department did not need to wait long periods of time for spare part shipments;
Supervising personnel to work less overtime to approach the optimum results in minimum amount of time;
Cooperation with vendor supervisors in order to Installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning of new arriving rotating equipment such as Solar GTGs, Caterpillar Emergency Diesel-Generators, special type of pumps and compressors set as a field/site mechanical engineer effectively and hand over technically and documental to the client without any major problem;
Preparing and having high effective input concerning installation procedures which comes out from my high theorical and practical knowledge in different oil and gas and power projects;
Preparing effective technical proposals in order to improve plant systems to increase optimization and productivity;
