• Responsible for site establishment, determination of staff requirements, fabrication and construction tools, equipment and consumables and monitoring of fabrication and construction.
• Responsible for operations and progress, liaising with Project Manager and Project Planner with regards to budget and schedule.
• Responsible for ensuring that fabrication and construction activities comply with codes, regulations, standards, specifications and O.H.S.A.
• Responsible for ensuring that all sub-contractors comply with codes, regulations, standards, specifications and O.H.S.A.
• Responsible for ensuring that all contract variation instructions are recorded, priced, approved by the Client and scheduled according to priority and schedule impact.
• Responsible for ensuring that all Non-Destructive Examination is executed by Government Approved Inspection Authorities, and all QA/QC documentation is packaged in accordance with legal, contractual and Client requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring all contractual obligations are met within budget and construction completion within schedule.
• Responsible for ensuring that Project Risk Assessments are generated and adhered to at all times during the project duration.
• Responsible for attending Client Progress meetings and reporting on all criteria related to delays, accessibility, safety, industrial relations, progress, etc.
• Responsible for ensuring that all staff have adequate qualifications and the relevant experience for executing their duties efficiently.
• Responsible for pre-commissioning, cold and hot commissioning activities and final hand over of Construction completion and acceptance packages to the Client.
