As the head of the business unit, I am responsible for Operational and financial (P&L) activities of the company including Resource Planning, Marketing, Production, Quality, Compliance, Finance, Logistics, Warehouse, HR, IT and Administration. I am sound in Finance, HR, Business systems, HR, Manufacturing and Supply chain. I have good network and working knowledge of operations in Customs, Board of Investment (BOI), Industrial Relations, Statutory Bodies such Inland Revenue, Registrar of Companies(ROC), Department of Industries and Local Authorities.
My core competencies are in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Operations, Import/Export Operations, Financial Analysis, Budgeting, Internal Control, Investment Appraisal, Product Costing, Creating Management/Business Presentations & Project/Business proposals, Business process mapping, Software system design and a sound working knowledge of Industrial law.
Key achievement include setting up a new manufacturing plant including incorporation, statutory approvals, vendor evaluation, Premises acquisition/construction, plant set up, recruitment, preparation of budgets, Capital procurements, Banking Facility Negotiations, Legal contacts negotiations, business process mapping, ensure compliance with Industrial safety & product safety and oversee commercial operation including warehousing & Logistics.
Previously, I have functioned as Head of Information systems and the my responsibilities were identifying information requirements of the company, IT implementing policies and initiating and implementing ERP, software & technology solutions for the company. Key involvements were in Business Analysis, Business process mapping, System testing, System Documentation, Managing System Implementation and Post implementation review (ERP). Key successful Projects initiated and Implementation are order processing, procurement, warehouse, logistic and sample development. As such I have an in-depth working knowledge of supply chain and Manufacturing processes. I started my career with book keeping including maintain receivables, payables, General Ledger and Treasury functions for 8 to 10 years.
I completed my professional qualifications while residing in United Kingdom in Computer studies. Thereafter, I pursued my career in Accountancy and Business Administration and completed the MBA from University of Western Sydney Australia. I maintain strong work ethics, professionalism and work well with teams with diverse backgrounds.
I am confident I can contribute to your organisation in the said capacity effectively and efficiently and achieve goals and objectives set by the Management.
