GCS Expansion & Additional Pipelines Project – Design and construction of the upgrade of existing GCS and installation of additional pipelines for the supply of gas and diesel through the Emirate of Dubai. Arabian Canal Pipelines Diversions – Design and construction of the diversions of DUSUP owned gas pipelines currently in the passage of the new Arabian Canal. Yas Island, Race Day Hotels (Yas Island Abu Dhabi) - Project Commercial Director leading Currie & Brown’s pre and post contract commercial and cost management services on the prestigious part of the Abu Dhabi Formula One programme, Race Day Hotels Project Value of circa AED 4.5 billion.
Project scope included fast track design and construction 7 Race Day Hotels ranging from 6 Star signature hotel, two 5 Star, two 4 Star to two 3 Star Hotels.
The Lagoons (Dubai) - Key Account Manager and Project Commercial Director leading one of Currie & Brown’s largest teams on the prestigious Lagoons Project in Dubai (Currie & Brown element of the project valued at circa AED 14 billion) delivering full commercial and cost management services (Pre and Post Contract), procurement and post award management of all consultancy services agreements and construction contracts on behalf of the client.

Work for the contractor involved leading role in managing the subcontract procurement procedures and subcontracts on TWUL projects and assisting with Commercial Manager activities.

Also playing a lead role in reviewing and updating certain TWUL procurement procedures and documentation to increase efficiency, transparency and effective management of Subcontracts. Direct result of this work affecting the control of the project costs and adding value by increasing savings, improving the bottom line margins on the contractors income and reducing risks associated with subcontracts to the contractor and TWUL. The direct result of this input into the team provided significant value to both TWUL and the Contractor.

Role also involved working directly for TWUL in the on strategic level to plan contract strategies, procurement plans, preparation and management of tender documentation and tender process, bid assessments, interviewing the tenderers and negotiation of main contracts outside the alliance regime. Role extended to the post award commercial management of these contracts up to final account on behalf of TWUL.
