I am PE, SE, Member American Society of Civil Engineers (USA) and Chartered Engineer with ICE (UK) having an extensive experience in the design, construction and project management of building structures, water retaining structures and Industrial/water structures of varied size, high rise concrete frame structures, strip/mat foundation covering long experience in structural design/projects management with highest qualifications MSc (USA)/PhD. I have also designed foundations for water pumping stations and retaining walls for flood schemes and highway drainage schemes. Besides this, I have designed and managed the infrastructure projects and have good experience in project management and managing a team of engineers. I have sound knowledge of British Codes, American codes, and Euro-codes and can design in a range of structural materials including concrete, steel, and masonry.

Responsibilities /Duties :
The project consist of design and construction of university`s new campus at Dhamtour. The university is providing quality education to 7000 students for undergraduate and graduate (MS, PhD) programs in the field of engineering, management sciences, Information Sciences and Technology, Sciences, Computer Science and Pharmacy. Due to successful programs and achieving among top 500 best QS world universities rating, the university planned to build a new start of art and purpose oriented campus.
The salient features of project are:
- Design & construction of 4 Academic blocks (5 story) for faculty & Lecture halls, 2 Administration blocks, auditorium for national/international conferences, swimming pool and other sport facilities.
- Infrastructure development for campus including two bridges and link roads
- Providing drinking water and sanitation facilities for campus that include 2 over hand water tanks of 50 gallons capacity.
- Design and construction of Electrical & Mechanical services.
The design and planning phase is complete. The construction phase is in progress. The construction of one academic block, one admn block and one bridge including service road has been completed. The construction of remaining buildings and allied facilities is in progress.
My role includes but not limited to:
• Attending client, design and contractors team meetings
• Manage detailed design of project while interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines, designers, and permitting specialists
• Having a Phd in structural Engineering, managed/checked all the structural design packages with design codes of ACI, AISC-Steel Manual, ASTM, along with design specification and soft model in SAP2000, ETAB and Staad-Pro
• Managing key project from start to finish in line with project specifications

• Preparing technical and progress reports
• Engineering design for Civil Engineering projects

Responsible for infrastructure and buildings development for larger Housing Projects up to 1500 villas/apartment in Royal Commission jubail. Working as Civil/Structural engineer consultant and making sure all civil & structural elements including concrete and steel are sound and stable with respect to engineering design. Inspecting the site construction activities ensuring that work has been carried out according to the design and specifications. I have prepared the Preliminary Scope of works to get Expenditure Request Approval. Preparing the Project Scope of Works and Project Execution Plan. Checked the engineering calculations and drawing for whole project and particularly Civil and Structural parts. Ensuring that all assigned work is completed on time and within agreed budgets. Supervising Projects: including in house, external contractors and sub-contractors. Attending meetings and competently communicate with Clients, Contractors and major asset owners and stakeholders. Making a presentation about the project to senior project management. Working on the Value engineering, Project Risk Management and Environmental Impact Study. Producing the Construability Report, Project Status report and attended the weekly action meetings. I am also working as peer reviewer for all of projects in the division and completed the 30%, 60% and 90% reviews and IFC drawings/design. Responsible to get approved the projects from Royal Commission Jubail, Municipality, SEC, WASA and other Saudi government agencies. Responsibilities /Duties :
The project consists of design of 6-story reinforced concrete building. The ground floor and first floor was for commercial use whereas the remaining floors were for residential purpose. Responsible for Design of flat slabs of spans 10- 14m wide with eccentric column loadings and design of core shear walls of 5 story 25m high concrete building. Post tension slabs were finalized due to long spans 14m-slab length. The sixth floor was of steel design.

Responsibilities /Duties :
The project consist of design and construction of 7.5x7.8x7m high reinforced concrete chamber with complex hanging walls at 4.5m having cantilever base embedded to main chamber walls. The pipe opening of 35mm main pipe and 1500, 800 and 600mm of auxiliary pipes have to cater for design besides taking into account of thrust from pipes. A lot of discussion was held on wall/bas thickness, joint detailing in drawings, material strength (C30/C40), and permissible crack width and on overall design to make it economical viable design.

Responsibilities /Duties :
This project was about design of Culvert Wing Walls and water apron slab with toe for pre-cast box culvert considering the soil pressure and water scouring. The HA loading was considered and toe protection was design to cater for water scouring. I have to make a liaison with contractor, supplier and client. I had to arrange the meetings between contractor and client. Best project co-ordination and programming was done for delivery of this project.
