Degree in Civil Engineering above 17 years construction experience in which last 8 years based in Qatar working as Project Management mostly in performing various office & field engineering assignments from inception to execution, planning, monitor & controlling to project closing with following skills:
• Proven working experience in construction management
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Meet contractual conditions of performance
• Review the work progress, site monitoring on daily basis
• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status like monthly/weekly report
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
• Competent in conflict and crisis management
• Leadership and human resources management skills
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Monitor the expiry of project related documents such as performance bonds etc and ensure their renewal through instructions to the contractor
• Review applications for payments made by the contractor; adopt appropriate measures to avoid and prevent any claims from the same
• Attend Progress and Coordination Meetings with contractors and sub-contractors to discuss all aspects of the project, prepare Minutes of Meeting (MOM)
• Review the contractor’s quality plan and the overall systems for the checking of works and ensuring remedial works in case of non-compliance
• Capable to review/prepare method statements, work proposals, reports & can assist to prepare/substantiate cost proposal, Site Instruction, VO, partial completion certificates, as-built documentation & close out reports as per contract requirements
• Ability to implement standard Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Policy, HSE Plan, and to promote highest standards of safety on site.
Key construction experience:
Marine: Oil Terminal/Container Terminal/Dredging/Artificial Beach - Back beach pre-cast concrete steps, artificial beach, revetments, break waters, quay walls; dredging and reclamation, tubular piling, sheet pilings, pile protective works, truck bays, parking lots, container terminal yard, cause ways & navigational markers;
Structural: Underpass/Bridges/Viaduct - Pre-cast & cast-in-concrete, foundations, slabs & beams, slab-on-grade & approach slab, expansion joints, earth-retaining walls, abutment & piers, moulds/formwork, false work, reinforcement, concrete materials, placement, curing, transportation and finishes;
Expressway & Roads: Demolition, site clearance, earth work, sub-surface drainage, sub-base, base course, asphalt pavement, hard paving, kerbs and bituminous mastic work; pipe & box culvert; maintenance & staging of traffic;
Micro-tunneling Works: RCC pipe with PVC lining, jacking and receiving pits, access chambers, reinforced concrete & grouting works.

• Conducting regular site visit & over-see work progress and Ensuring the Contractor’s compliance with the Contract Documents
• Review and comment contractor’s Progress reports, Method statements, Test reports, Shop drawings and other submittals and delegate to Sr. PM with recommendations
• Advise the project team on the Contractor’s slow or lack of progress and identify potential areas of delay, highlight the critical events, and suggest mitigation measures to minimize those delays
• Attending weekly contractor's work progress meeting & prepare minutes of meeting (MOM)
• Review and or clarify contractor’s Request for Inspection (RFI)
• Attending, workshops, work demonstration with CSC /Contractor’s representatives
• Monitor Beach Sand source, Production & Laboratory tests
• Monitor & controlling hydraulic placement of beach sand, access daily production
• Monitoring materials on site to be incorporated in permanent work, materials stored at the site, and the contractor’s manpower and equipments.
• Assist to Identify & eliminate any hazards associated in work place that may trigger environment or worker’s health issues.
• Implement Parsons’ Corporate Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Policy, HSE Plan, and other requirements
