• Reports to the construction Manager.
• Organize and coordinate the assigned part of the work.
• Study the specifications of the drawings.
• Responsibility to advise the Field Engineering Department in advance of the tests and inspections.
• Inspect the quality and quantity of the work performed and to verify, witness and approve tests to be performed in accordance with applicable specifications.
• Resolve difficulties and problems in discussions with representatives of contractors and with the Superintendent of Construction.
• Assist the Construction Warehouse Organization with inspection of material and received equipment and preventive maintenance of equipment stored.
• Assist with documentation to issue materials to the contractor.
• Ensure the proper flow of information and documentation to the Engineering Section of the Field Office and Quality Control Group.
• Mark the files in all field modifications to ensure the latest information is available to everyone concerned.
• Participate in regular progress coordination meetings.
• Assist during testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Check, as required, the "as built" information provided by the contractor and pass all necessary information to the Office Engineering Group.
