Surveyor with Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying
and Construction Management (Sheffield Hallam University
– UK), NDT in Civil Engineering University of Moratuwa.
I have more than ten (10) years work experience in
contracting over seven (7) years at Oman & Sri-Lanka and
consultancy over three years (3) at Qatar in respect of Pre-
Contract and Post-Contract Quantity Surveying Services.
I have worked in all facets of Infrastructure Projects
(Roads and Bridges, Utilities works & Landscape works)
and Building Projects (Commercial & Residential Buildings)
with thorough competency in site activities, Contract

Project scope
The Project comprises from F-Ring Road to the junction
with the East Industrial Road 9.3Km and some 3.5 Km, into
a divided multi-lane Urban Arterial (Including 2nos Flyover
Bridges and 4nos Underpasses) and Including Utilize works
such as Strom Water Network with Micro Tunnel, TSE Line,
Water Line, Electrical work, Substations and ITS works.
Role: Quantity Surveyor(Post Contract)
• Evaluation of work done and recommendation for
contractors’ payment application.
• Preparation of Cost Estimate, Site Instructions and
Change Request.
• Preparation of Cost report with monthly forecasting
cash flow as per the client requirements.
• Assist to extension of time and Prolongation cost as per
contract entailment and coordination with planning
• Handled commercial related site activities with
Contractor and Client/PMC
• Monitoring the project ensuring fulfillment of
contractual obligations.
• Participate in the meeting, Progress Meeting,
Commercial meeting Client/ Contractor.
• Review Bonds and Insurances expiry and extensions as
per contract requirements.
