• Provide direction and guidance on all Technical Queries raised by the Client
• Represent the Client at all project safety and design reviews as necessary
• Ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
• Liaise with the Client’s Management and Operations staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion.
• Assist project engineers in resolution of engineering issues in order to improve the reliability of the instrumentation systems to designed capacity, especially for hazardous areas.
• Ensure equipment erection & commissioning for safety critical items meets acceptable standards.
• Undertake installation and commissioning of Pneumatic and Electronic Instrumentation on field facilities- ESDV systems, gas/oil metering skids and all local field Instruments such as Gauges, Transmitters (Temperature/Flow/Level/Pressure).
• Preparation of Instrument and control system Operation and maintenance manuals.
• Resolved unusual problems which could otherwise delay the progress, made decisions under emergency commissioning conditions to solve problems and protect the teams and the plant.
• Conduct meetings to coordinate activities and makes frequent inspections to assure operations confirms to plans and are being carried out safely, efficiently and economically.
• Directed preparation of and reviews/approves forecasts for manpower, materials and supplies required, order tools, supplies and supporting service and initiates action to assure stocks are maintained at minimum adequate levels.
• Evaluated efficiency of operations, plans and implements improvements reviews the work program and assumes direct responsibility for carrying out individual programs.
• Prepared work schedules; directs the work of Contractors/Vendors involved in various activities and monitors the commissioning costs to enhance the overall efficiency within budgeting constraints.
• Acquires and understands the Project goals from Contract, kick-off meeting, conduct workshop, Prepare minutes of meeting, progress update from contractors etc…
• Coordinates the evaluation of the design changes to the original scope of work and verifies the implementation of those approved
• Prepare technical reports as required; stating the current workload in the group and whether it will meet set targets.
• Monitors and reports actual progress / check for Discipline activities, including control of men-hours and delivered documents; particular care is required for sub-contracted activities
• Training and mentoring to the junior engineers or as assigned by the company.

• Execution of I&C testing for systems and equipment that are under Operations control, and equipment and systems which interface with running plant with coordination with end users, vendors and other parties.
