Duties and Responsibilities:
*Monitor and evaluate EPC contractor HSE programs on project facilities and ensure their compliance to company HSE requirements.
*Support Project management with all aspects of Site safety to ensure compliance with current Health, Safety & Environment regulations.
*Review and approve contractor’s method statements and risk assessments to ensure compliance to company Standards and HSE requirements.
*Provide technical support and guidance as necessary to accident / incident investigation and ensure adequate mitigation controls are implemented to prevent the recurrence of the events.
*Ensure contractor has daily inspection programs in place for inspections of permits, scaffolds, cranes, tools, etc to identify improvements in work methods and circumstances based upon the analyses of inspection and audits.
*Prepare agenda and conduct routine HSE committee meetings, management review meeting and monthly HSE meetings with the EPC contractor and Project Management Team.
*Coordinate and Communicate with the EPC contractor about project Safety, Health and Social Environmental issues.
*Monitor and review the adequacy of the risk controls and their compliance
