Summary
A deadline-driven project leader with a proven track record in identifying and managing risks & opportunities, embracing change, and optimizing outcomes in complex situations. I possess a dynamic mindset to deal with conflicting priorities with a strong sense of accountability and commitment, and strategic thinking required to keep a project on course in line with schedule, budget, quality and contractual terms.
I am well known by the people who worked with me as a specialist in turning around problematic packages of work and bringing them to successful completion, and implementing large-scale process and regulatory permits approval processes with minimal impact on day-to-day operations. I have a pro-active approach and am always looking for ways to improve the execution of works and develop strategies to eliminate or minimize bottlenecks in progress, to achieve better outcomes.
Ability to work in projects with a high-pressure, logistically complex and hazardous environment within cost effective guidelines. I promote working with others in a creative and practical manner, whilst reinforcing the need to develop an attention to detail towards successful delivery of projects. I always work closely with senior management and team to ensure a consistent and high standard of work is achieved at all times. Ability to rethink design and construction methodologies whilst maximizing productivity and being contractually focused. Over the years I have developed a strong ability to effectively & efficiently communicate at all levels; verbally and in writing, liaise and resolve conflicts & problems diplomatically & efficiently.
As an added value to my project management & project engineering experience I have developed solid skills in managing the sustainable development aspects through managing the delivery of sustainable, innovative and practical design and construction solutions.
