Conduct meeting with vendors & collect information regarding different types of smart water meters, analyse DEWA smart meter implementation requirements.
Coordinating M bus cabling activities carry out by contractors and subcontractors for the implementation of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI).
Configuring & Testing smart water meters ( Hydrus, Elster,Badgermeter, Kamstrup, Sensus ), conduct meter acceptance testing as per DEWA standard (test flow rate, low high cut off, alarms handling etc.).
Configuring & testing different types of communication technologies and devices like M2M cellular router,GPON, LTE, RF mesh etc.
Configuration, testing & commissioning of MUC’s (Multi Utility controller) installed at individual buildings to collect water meter data, set up online communication of MUC’s with DEWA Data centres.
