Have Sound experience on both Pre-Contract & Post Contract and particularly majority of experience on post contracts on all kind of projects as mentioned above. I am associated & worked directly on site during my tenure in all above projects.
In my span of experience, work experience encompasses Post Contract functions like scrutiny & analysis of Contract documents including but not limited to evaluation of risk factors, preparation of monthly & final payment applications, variations / extra items, acceleration, Extension of Time & other claims, contract administration & correspondences, sub-contract management, procurement etc.
I have excellent command on Oman Standard Conditions of Contract, FIDIC, SMM7, CESMM3, POMI and Local Standards.
Have high level of Commercial, technical & analytical skills with commitment to perform quality works for improving efficiency.
Evaluation of project execution plan and risks associated with different requirements depending on the scope of works.

I am working as Senior Commercial Manager taking complete responsibilities of Commercial and Contractual matters for all Post Contract jobs.
I am responsible & taking care of commercial, contractual & QS activities of all Projects and individual project quantity surveyors are reporting to me. At present 8 QS, 1 Contracts Engineer & 1 Cost Controller are reporting to me.
The MC4A project comprises of G + 3 structures housing the Ministry of Transport & Communication Head Quarters. The building includes an auditorium with a seating capacity of 600 persons with a foldable partition in between thus enhancing the use for a smaller gathering as well.
The structure has arcades thus giving sense of space as one enters the building. The offices are finished with carpet tiles and ducted air conditioning thus creating a silent work environment.
Penthouse with its sloping curtain glazing renders the building a unique appearance.
The total value of the Project is RO 25 Million and expected revised contract value around RO 38Mn. The nature of duties is almost similar to my previous assignments but attached with more responsibilities in dealing with Client / Consultants & Subcontractors, Identification, Preparation & Submission of various types of Claims. Also, I am supporting the Project Manager in meeting the scheduled deliverables.
At MC4A, I am leading a team comprising 3QS (Civil Works), 2 (MEP works) & 1 Cost Controller.

‘2nd Asian Beach Games Muscat 2010 – Construction of Permanent Buildings (Package 3) comprises of Hotel (5 Star, 234 Rooms), Apartment, Games Command Centre, Athletes Village & various utility buildings and Package 5 – Infrastructure (From April 2009 to date): The total value of the Project was approximately RO 80 Million. The total plot area of the project is 1 Million Sft & Built-up Area is 45,000 Sqm (Pkg 3), the total revised value for the Project under our Contract RO 39 Million.
I was leading a team comprising 3QS (Civil Works), 1 (MEP works) & 1 Billing Engineer and My responsibilities includes but not limited to the following. I was reporting to the ‘Senior Project Manager’ and Sector Project Manager.
Scrutinize the measurements prepared by the QS-team for both Civil & MEP works
Preparation of Monthly Progress Payment Applications & obtaining approval from Consultant & Client.
Prepare & submit notification to Engineer w.r.to differences between Tender & IFC drawings
Developed and prepared various formats required for the Project like ‘Work Completion Format’, ‘Day Work Sheet’, ‘Final Bill’ etc.,.
Floating enquiries for all provisional sum items like Finishes (Marble flooring, Joinery works, False Ceiling works, Glitterite finishes etc., specialized works like Aluminum & glazing works, SS Handrail, Partition Works, etc., preparation of comparative statements & BOQ, preparation of Technical qualifications, Commercial & Contractual qualifications, compiling all documents & submit the same to Engineer / Employer for approval.
Preparation of Letter of Intent, Work Orders & Sub-contracts agreement.
Scrutiny and Certification of all Supplier & Subcontractor Invoices
Material Reconciliation Statements
Guiding & improving the sub-ordinates through giving continuous feedback, helping in areas of improvement and follow-up.
Preparation of Final Bill and Settlement of variation with Consultant/Client.
I left the above organization since my Children were studying in higher standards and I was not in position to shift to new location as posted.
