Civil engineer with 30 years’ experience in large infrastructure sites, in Italy and abroad
In the last 20 years I carried out my activity as Health Safety and Environment Manager in huge infrastructure projects reaching, with my staff, 3,500,000 SWH.
My working attitude is constructive, with a remarkable sense of adaptation, thanks to my dealing with multicultural and multi-ethnic environments, both for work and tourism, both in Italy and abroad.
In such a way I can develop and improve my interpersonal, communication and listening skills.

30 years’ experience as manager or consultant in Heavy Infrastructural projects in Italy, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Qatar, Russia, and Dubai.

The course, of ten months duration, had been organized by the company "Società Italiana per Condotte d’Acqua S.p.A." of Rome in its own project sites and it was articulated as follows:

In charge, on behalf of "RINA Spa", of monitoring, analysis and verification of occupational safety and accident prevention in the execution of the reconstruction project of the "Polcevera" viaduct in Genoa.
It is a steel structure, a continuous girder, consisting of 20 spans, for a total length of 1100 meters. The project foresees elliptical-section reinforced concrete piers, positioned at a constant 50-meter pace, with the exception of the Polcevera torrent and the railway lines spans, 100 meters long.
Awarded Amount: 202 mln. Euro

The Site commences close to the Doha Golf Club entrance (where Red Line North Underground system – Lot 1.5 - ends) crossing the Qatar University over the planned campus and turns north-east approaching the Al Kohr highway where it continues along the alignment of the future P60 highway.

Motorway “Jamal Abdul Nasser Street Project” – Kuwait City – Kuwait
The Jamal Abdul Nasser Project (also known as RA 167) is one of the major infrastructure and road development projects taking place in the State of Kuwait and is part of the Ministry of Public Works strategic plans to enhance motorways and roads in the State of Kuwait. The Project will transform and upgrade the existing street into a motorway that adheres to international standards. The Project includes a series of complex bridge works and elevated highways throughout the length of the project.
Elevated structures include:
• 4 level interchange on Ghazali road (first in Kuwait)
• 7.2 km of elevated highway.
• 6 to 8 lanes wide elevated highway
• Depressed road with two roundabout bridges.
• 9 roundabouts
• 3 interchanges
• 8 pedestrian overpasses

In addition to transforming the Jamal Abdul Nasser into a unified highway, the project also includes a number of utilities' networks including electrical and communications cabling, sewerage and storm water drainage structures along the length of the project route which requires the relocation, protection, and refurbishment.

Highway “Jahra Road Project” – Kuwait City – Kuwait
The Jahra development project is the upgrade of existing at-grade Jahra road located in the dynamic industrial area of Shuwaikh. It is one of the busiest places of Kuwait, as educational institutions, hospitals, industrials, offices, and the most important port of Kuwait, the Port of Shuwaikh, are situated in this area.
The project consists of 17.7 km of viaduct and aims to appease and accommodate the current traffic volume and its expected growth. The project is composed of a main viaduct and of several link bridges. The Jahra viaduct will provide an instant access to Kuwait city when arriving from the west. The link bridges will facilitate the traffic between the viaduct and other main transport infrastructures. Moreover, the Jahra development project will be connected to the Jamal Abdul Nasser project.

Gilgel Gibe II Hydroelectric Power Plant in Ethiopia
The Gilgel Gibe II Hydropower Project is the second of the three plants included in the cascade.
It is situated 250 km south-west of Addis Ababa and 80 Km north-east of Jima.
The project includes a 50 m high, gravity, dam, with a crest length of 140 m., a power tunnel, a double penstock and a 420 MW power house.
The 26 Km power tunnel (D = 6 m) is excavated almost entirely using TBM technology.
The gross head of 505 m is created by a water way crossing the ridge between the Gilgel Gibe valley and the Omo valley by means of a 26 km power tunnel and 500 m long penstocks.
4 Pelton turbines in the outdoor power house provide 420 MW installed power producing 1650 GWh per year.

“A 1 Motorway”: Milan Naples – Valico bypass BO FI - Lots 9 / 10 / 11".
This project is a part of the widest project being constructed by Autostrade per l'Italia, consisting of the upgrading of the A1 Motorway by constructing the Valico Bypass on the 62.5 km Apennine section between Sasso Marconi and Barberino del Mugello.
The construction mainly consists of the work symbolising the Valico Bypass, i.e., the Base Tunnel. This is a double tunnel with split carriageways about 8.6 km long with an average section of 180 m2. The entire section is 11.2 km long overall and entails the construction of the Base Tunnels as well as double 300 m. long tunnel (Poggio Civitella) and three viaducts with a mixed steel and concrete structure (Badia Nuova Viaduct, Setta I Viaduct and Casaglia Viaduct).
In addition, the Badia interchange is being built with an additional four on / off-ramps and related works for the toll booth; the Poggiolino interchange and snow area.

About 78.5 Km long of which over 93% tunnels, this line stretches out partially into the region of Emilia and partially into Tuscany, passing through 12 different municipalities - 6 in the province of Bologna and 6 in the province of Florence.
Out of the tunnels crossing the mountainous and upland terrain of the Apennines (and many are over 10 km in length) the longest is the Vaglia tunnel, measuring over 18 km.
The characteristics of the project are the complicate geographical location, and the massive presence, possible or probable, of gas (mainly methane) along the excavation of almost all of the tunnels.
The activities for the new infrastructure include: over 8 km of noise barriers, 140 km of new road systems serving the sites and 13 archaeological operations. The new and existing lines were linked up by means of an interconnection at S. Ruffillo situated in the Bologna area and measuring about 5 km.
Moreover, to ensure tight safety conditions during operations (bearing in mind the strict safety requirements necessary for hazardous tunnel work), cutting-edge and high performing technology systems and installations were developed and used for the job.
