The state-of-the-art design converts lignite coal into natural gas to power the turbines that produce electricity. As the Startup Coordinator my responsibilities are to inspect and ensure all equipment, piping systems and controls are functioning properly. As one of the lead coordinators, I meet daily with project management, contractors, operators and the startup team to address and resolve project issues.

Met daily with contractors and engineers to plan scheduled work activities, maintained schedule and staffing requirements, conduct daily field inspections and coordinate regularly with local officials and land owners.

Inspected forms, rebar placement, concrete pours and supervised installation of approximately six miles of underground pipeline systems.

Aries Power Plant in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Reviewed, estimated, negotiated, awarded and managed rework of incomplete piping, mechanical, structural and electrical punch list items on a 320 megawatt simple cycle configuration with two natural gas combustion turbines.

Stoney Brook, NY, point of contact for drawing reviews, construction coordination and tracking construction progress on General Electric LM 6000 PC SPRINT Combustion Turbine Generator and associated balance-of-plant systems and facilities.
