DALMA GAS DEVELOPMENT PROJECT (ADNOC)
Responsible for the preparation of the Electrical Material Take-off for EPC costing. The Material Take-off was based on the provided FEED. Evaluation of FEED design to provide a robust cost estimate.
HALIBA PHASE 2 ASSESS AND SELECT STAGE STUDY (AL DHAFRA PETROLEUM OPERATIONS COMPANY LTD.)
Responsible for the preparation of electrical manpower and cost estimates for the ASSESS (conceptual) and SELECT (FEED) stages of the above project.
100 k BPD TOPPING REFINERY, FUJAIRAH, UAE
Responsible for the conceptual electrical design of a 10 k BPD Topping Refinery in Fujairah. The Extended Basic Engineering Design comprised engagement and discussions with the Client regarding the supply of electricity for the project and initial discussions with FEWA. The EBED included preparation of deliverables, including equipment specifications, data sheets, electrical basis of design, key single line diagrams and electrical load list etc.
16 k BPD MODULAR REFINERY, KAZAKHSTAN
Responsibilities included the preparation of deliverables for the Transition Engineering Phase of the project to cover the conceptual design of the electrical system. Preparation of deliverables including the electrical load list, electrical equipment list, electrical basis of design, key single line diagram, equipment specifications and data sheets and preliminary power station layout.
SHELL MAJNOON ASP3 GREENFIELDS PROJECT, SHELL (SIPD), IRAQ
Electrical engineering design of three new well pads (F25, G24 and G28) in the Majnoon Oil Field. Preparation of single line diagrams, data sheets, layouts (cabling, earthing and lighting), termination and interconnection diagrams, MTO’s and Construction Work Packs. Approval and coordination of Vendor design and documents. Project involved coordination with Client on all technical issues.
10 k BOPD REFINERY, WEST AFRICA, BOKE, GUINEA
EPC Contract for 10 k BOPD Refinery in Kamsar, Guinea. The first phase comprised the Feedlite design with the preparation of sufficient technical information to obtain a budget price for financing purposes of the project. Feedlite deliverables included electrical equipment specifications, data sheets, electrical design basis, electrical philosophies, key single line diagram, electrical load list, preliminary cable schedule and MTO for costing of electrical equipment bulk items.
Preparation of a design and documents sufficient to obtain a robust cost for electrical equipment and bulk items. Design was consistent with the available funding criteria.

BABS INTEGRATED FACILITIES PROJECT - ADCO
Assistance to ADCO for completion of FEED design for various Well Pads and treatment facilities in the Bab Field, Abu Dhabi. Design of well pad electrical systems comprising various types of wells, scope included layouts, single line diagrams etc.
Provided valuable assistance to ADCO engineering team and completed project within the allocated time scale.
IRAQ EXPORT PIPELINES INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT – SCOP
Preparation of Scopes of Work for the Iraq Export Pipelines Infrastructure Project for the revised scope of work, (PS1A to outlet of PS3A). Responsibilities included meetings with various Contractors and technical discussions with Client.
SGC GAS PROCESSING PLANTS (BIN UMER AND ATAWI) SOUTHERN IRAQ
Responsible for all electrical aspects for the conceptual design of the brown fields work for the SGC Processing Plants at Bin Umer and Atawi in Southern Iraq. The project involved a site visit to Iraq to study the existing facilities. Based on the information gained from the site visit a conceptual design for the electrical brownfields works was prepared for the integration of the existing plants into the new facilities.
NEW NASSIRIYA DEPOT PROJECT, CPP, BASRA, IRAQ
Crude oil storage and pumping facility containing 7 large crude oil floating roof storage tanks with pumping and utilities. Utilities included power generation, fire water, compressed air, water intake facilities with treatment, drainage, 11 kV overhead lines etc.
Responsible for the basic electrical design of complete facility including preparation of electrical load list, system MV and LV concept design, preparation of single line diagrams for MV, LV and UPS systems, substation layouts, cable routing and scheduling. Preparation of electrical equipment specifications, data sheets, earthing and lightning protection design, 11 kV overhead line design and electrical system studies. Responsible for coordination of all activities with other departments and Client.
IRAQ EXPORT PIPELINES INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT – BOOT CONTRACT PS5A TO AQABA IN JORDAN
Technical assistance on BOOT Contract for Haditha to Aqaba section of pipeline. Review of contractual documentation and ITT in all respects and preparation of technical inputs.
IRAQ EXPORT PIPELINES INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT – FEED PS1A to PS5A
FEED design of 5 pumping station for pipeline route PS1A to PS5A. Pumping Stations 1A and 5A contained crude oil storage facilities of the floating roof design.
Responsible for preparation of single line diagrams, electrical equipment layouts, power generation systems, specifications and data sheets, earthing and lightning protection design, cable routing, lighting and small power, schedules, power system studies and coordination with Mumbai office.
IRAQ EXPORT PIPELINES INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT – FEASIBILITY STUDIES
The project involved three feasibility studies as follows:
1. Crude oil pipeline and facilities between Basra and Syria.
2. Crude oil pipeline and facilities between Haditha and Aqaba in Jordan.
3. Fuel gas pipeline between Basra and Baiji.
Responsible for all electrical aspects of the three feasibility studies which included deliverables such as key single line diagrams, electrical load lists, specifications, philosophies and data sheets.
EMAL PHASE II POWER STATION
Responsible for all electrical aspects for the tender evaluation and contract negotiations for a 1,000 MW combined cycle power station associated with the EMAL Phase 2 extension. The power station comprised 3 No. GE Frame 9FA gas turbine machines with associated heat recovery boilers and 2 No. steam turbines. Responsibilities included resolving bidder clarifications and queries, technical bid assessment and recommendations.
