b) Project Management - design, contract documentation (PRAG & FIDIC) and site supervision of major construction, drainage, highways and buildings for clients.
c) Contract/Project management, of multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget using computerised project management, QA and accounting systems, and staff management. Planning and controlling resource requirements, financial and manpower for project groups. Procurement of work within the defined business area. Preparation of contract proposals and documentation. Writing Model Contract documents and Design Manuals for the UK Water Industry. Managing from set up to full operation a Drainage Area Plan (DAP) office. Specifying and implementing/training GIS sewer records (SUS 25 etc), Hydraulic modelling (MOUSE), standardised CCTV reporting, structural assessment of sewers, critical sewer assessment and computerised O&M of sewerage networks and WWTP’s including SMP’s and SOP’s.
d) Project management of pipeline robotics equipment development and software projects from conception to commercial production including economic appraisal of developments using cost benefit analysis. Writing contract documentation and licence agreements together with outline patent specifications to patent agents.
