Project Logistics Manager - Sishen South Project

Compile and implement the Logistics Management strategy in collaboration with the Procurement Manager and the Construction Management Team on the Sishen South Project.
Manage inbound logistics processes for the project, and ultimately the Sishen South Mine.
Actively participate to accomplish Supply chain savings targets, through the management of transport and storage of high value items to reduce the risk of losses and/or damage.
Commissioning the Materials Management department at the new mine, in terms of warehousing, systems, procedures, processes and infrastructure (Operational Readiness).
Compile adequate warehouse design for the effective storage and handling of materials during the construction phase as well as the operational phase of the project. Manage inbound logistics processes for the project, and ultimately the Sishen South Mine.
Ensure statuary compliance of all aspects of the Logistics Management function.
Build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders.
Drafting of Recommendations and Proposals to Management.
Facilitate continuous improvement processes with a focus on improved service delivery to all stakeholders.
Create & maintain a positive business climate and high performance culture.
People management to ensure high performance organization.
