During my 30 years in construction I have had the pleasure to work on projects ranging from large civil engineering projects to hospitals, government facilities, high rise, commercial and educational facilities. During this period, I have worked as a Main Contractor and Client Side Project Manager where I have used my knowledge and experience to ensure that my Clients are provided with the best possible solution to achieve their budgetary constraints. This has taken the form of proposing alternate design solutions and or material changes while maintaining the end user’s requirements.

I have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility to not only to my Clients and their stakeholders but to the workforce, and as such I insist on maintaining the highest levels of health and safety. This is achieved through positive reinforcement of personal and collective responsibilities, and educating those who may be unaware of the risks they place themselves and others in.

As a Project Manager, I see myself as a leader with a role to ensure all parties have the same common goal despite individual agendas, that being, a successful quality build on time and on budget where we can all be proud of what we have produced.

Having previously worked in the Caribbean I understand the constraints and logistics involved in construction on the islands, I am also aware of the excellent skill sets that are available from the local workforce.
