Responsible for leading and managing a team of up to 9 proposal engineers and managers in two offices. Accountable to executive leadership for bidding and winning successful projects of typical value $150 million, up to $2.0 billion, in the EMEA, Russia and India regions across all forms of contract. Responsible for providing focus for competitiveness across the organisation.

• Led the project development team to win the largest-ever project in the industrial gases industry - the $2.0 billion Jazan facility. Reacted quickly to a rapidly changing complex commercial situation, leading to a significant net profit, improvement in Air Products corporate results over several years and a step-change in the company’s presence in Saudi Arabia.
• Introduced the concept of bid strategy to the work process, developing cross-organisational teams at an early stage to focus on developing a winning strategy, leading to an improvement in win-rate.
