Brief Description of Duties:-

Provide Project Engineering support to the Spirit Energy Contract. To manage the delivery of a portfolio of projects from receipt of work instruction through to Commissioning, close out and system handover . This will include interfacing with engineering services, Sub Contractors, Procurement, Suppliers and implementation functions while closely liaising with the Clients job responsible engineers to align construction workforce to Manned/Unmanned Platforms ensuring ticketing requirements are met.
Responsible for all commercial and project controls across the offshore portfolio.
Key Duties included:

• Arranging Kick off Meeting between Client and Engineering function leads to ensure SOW is fully understood
• Reviewing manning profiles to align resources to Project
• Provide estimate & Level 3 Plan to carry out FEED
• Seeking Funding approval from client
• Arrange and carry out Survey of platforms before FEED commences with the engineering function leads.
• Outlining deliverables and timescales to engineering function & monitoring weekly progress
• Identifying 3rd Party Suppliers/sub contractors
• Reviewing quotes from suppliers and going through the competitive tendering process
• Production & Submission of FEED report with deliverables
• Implementing FEED review with key stakeholders/Clients
• Providing estimate & detailed schedule for detailed design through to commissioning and close out.
• Monitor all costs, schedule and sanction levels throughout lifecycle of the project

• Facilitate HAZOP/HAZID/P&ID Reviews – Internal & External

Responsible for the project execution of 14 Pre-Assembled Units for the Shell/Kvaerner Nyhamna Gas Expansion Project in Norway.
Implementing Project Management Systems and Processes for the execution of work scope from design to fabrication through to Mechanical Completion & Sail away, including Interface coordination between the Construction and Project Departments (including but not limited to Engineering, Drawing Office, Planning, Materials, DCC, Commercial, Compliance, MIPS, SAPS, Production Control and the Mechanical Completions Department

Key Duties included:

 Management responsibility for Project scope, schedule and budget for the modules assigned.
 Working with the Project Manager in implementing the Project Management System and supporting processes.
 Plan, organise, direct and control all activities on assigned scope of work.
 Organise the internal kick off meetings with key team members to ensure all are aligned with what is required.
 Supervise and direct project related activities to the project team to promote cost and schedule awareness amongst the team.
