Project Management: Executed monitoring of the progress of the project works for completion on time through evaluation benchmarked on the approved work program advising the ways of handling the slippages / challenges showing ways forward through implementing a Catch -up Rolling Work Program with micro control through additional increased input of resources, planning & control. Construction Management Skills: I have been focused strongly on multi-dimensional aspects of roads and bridge construction methodologies including implementing process control pertaining to laying of pavement layers, asphalt and concrete works, quality control, design review of DPR, checking contractors work program, approval of working & supplementary drawings, pavement design, quantities and costing, evaluation of highway construction materials and design mixes, field and laboratory tests for procurement of materials and after incorporation thereof. I have Demonstrated my ability to make fast decisions & recommendations on significant engineering problems consistent with the requirements of the stakeholders.

2. Performed key role in fifteen projects of costing equal to / more than US$ 25 M based on ICB for total 15 years of duration to my credit. Got about 19 years of experience of 13 projects of highways construction projects funded by World Bank, Asian Development Bank, JICA & African Development Bank including outside India as Highway Engineer for 2 years in Nepal & as Expatriate Resident Engineer/Team Leader for 4 Years in Oman, for 1 Year in Tanzania & 6.17 years in Ethiopia. 4. In Etawah Bypass with SMEC, Project Bonus was awarded to the contractor for early completion by two months under my strict supervision, monitoring & control. In most of the other contract, the work was got finished substantially within time & allocated / approved budget.

Activities performed:
As the project is a by-pass of Agra town, I delivered the services for Community Consultation, Land acquisition, co-ordination with multiple agencies for relocation utilities. I also supervised multiple-contractor for utility shifting i.e. Electrical pole shifting, water pipeline shifting, sewage pipeline shifting, relocation of optical fiber cable of telephone lines etc.
I did construction supervision of the project stretch and coordinated with all agencies. All horizontal curves and the stretches having gradient more than 5% were to be provided surfaced shoulders. Villages and town areas were also to have 2.5m wide surfaced shoulders. The town of Areka had a divided 2-lane carriageway.

Activities Performed: As Highway Engineer, delivered project activities in time & budget assigned through planning the road construction works and exercising control on day to day execution of the works as per the contract drawings, specified quality control of road construction works and materials, assisted in manpower and equipment planning, prepared progress reports, checked of line & levels, layouts etc., assisted Quantity Surveyor in preparation of Interim Payment Application (IPA). Operated & maintained existing road.
