Summary

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTY:
• Oversees all the project related matters ( EPC)
• Assign roles and responsibilities of the team
• Liaising with client and consultant
• Conducting all site meetings with client / consultant, subcontractor and internal
• Direct and execute approved plan
• Develop assess and select proper strategy for the project considering performance, cost, time and scope constraints
• Executing plans and programs within the developed objectives
• Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates regarding work priorities and ensuring work is flowing smoothly
• Managing and controlling all tasks and activities of the project at all stages and conditions in order to ensure delivering project's outcomes within the required timeframe, budget and quality
• Studying and analyzing new projects contract documents, and developing execution plans and programs, as well as supervising work execution and using various time management tools and methods to control changes to project's schedule
• Approving subcontractors, tenders, purchase orders, materials submittal, and controlling payments to subcontractors
• Monitoring and controlling work activities to ensure that the project is managed in a safe and professional manner, undertaken in compliance with all contractual requirements and executed at the required performance level
• Developing key performance indicators to measure the overall performance against the project goals and meet client's expectations in a timely and professional manner
• Monitoring changes to the project's scope, variance factors and changes to the project's budget, and producing complete project final account detailing any variations
• Controlling information distribution to all concerned parties, providing assistance in producing required and supporting documents such as construction method statements and drawings to be submitted to the Management
• Supporting the design and placement of contracts with consultants for technical aspects of the project
• Reviewing reports regarding on-site operations to ensure that standards of performance, quality, cost schedules and safety are maintained, in addition to testing and inspecting all project's elements to ensure compliance with requirements
• Ensuring that adequate resources are being provided by integrating on-site works with support functions through coordination with the head office
• Reviewing status and progress reports prepared to be submitted to the client and checking its correctness and comprehensiveness
• Developing periodic reports related to the activities of the department
• Recommending training aspects to subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of development and reflecting them properly on work related requirements
• Handling the manpower planning process as per the developed budgets and plans
• Conducting performance management activities to subordinates and managing the process of ensuring objectives are being met as advised.
