DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Company Dy. QAQC Lead based on FWP 02 Yard, my responsibility is to ensure all the piping module and structural scope of works are being carried out as per project specifications and International agreed standards, Monitoring, liaising / Guiding our (At peak- 9 Personnel) sub ordinate different discipline inspectors (Piping/ Welding/ Coating / Insulation) for their intended tasks as well as contractor QAQC leads and their Inspectors. Following are brief responsibilities.
Review and approval of site project procedures, ITP & QCP related to piping/welding/NDT and verifying that contractors are following the same through inspections.
Responsible for managing, monitoring and follow up of EPC contractor & Subcontractors Welding/NDT, Coating/Insulation & related QA/QC activities.
Follow up & surveillance inspection of vendor supplied items as per procurement QAP, attending Pre inspection meetings
Monitoring and Inspection of different coating Systems for various piping .
Monitoring and Inspection of hot & Cold insulations for various piping.
Review & Approval of Pressure test packs, witnessing Pressure tests.
Witnessing & Approval of all welding procedures, (WPS, PQR, WPQ).Mechanical tests & Welder Qualifications.
Trouble shooting in shop floor and site for welding activities of various piping (C.S, LTCS, Low Alloy Steel, SS, etc) and Structural units.
Review of RT Films & Witnessing UT, TOFD, NDE of Pressure Piping, Surveillance Check of NDT tests( Carbon Track inspections for SS, MT,PT,HARDNESS, PMI)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a QA/QC Sr. Engineer based in Balhaf Operational Base dealing with operational/ shutdown /decommissioning activities in order to ensure that all the quality/Welding/NDT/ Material procurement activities related to the plant internal , Maintenance & modification, shutdowns & Subcontract projects (Upstream Up gradation & LPG bullets fabrication & erection) are in line with COMPANY Specification Requirements. • Establishment of Quality system within the plant premises in various Departments and preparation of subsequent necessary procedures for the same.
• Follow up and Monitoring of Vendors Inspection, Subcontract Vendor Inspection Visits, Welding & NDT Activities & documentation progress till the approval of Final Manufacturing Record book at various fabrication & Erection stages until the installation and put in successful operation.
• Review & updating of previous quality/Welding/NDT procedures as per the latest requirements of plant.
• Review and establishment of latest NDT techniques such as MFL, IRIS, TOFD, Eddy Current etc., depending on individual requirement.
• Dealing with various weld Repairs/modifications in plant with materials involving of CS SS DS CUNI, Titanium, Aluminum etc.
• Sub Vendor approvals from quality point of view as per COMPANY Standards
• Witnessing some Mandatory inspections in the plant and at sub vendor facilities. Review & approval of the necessary final documentations.
• Supporting E&C department for Quality control/Welding activities of internal ancillary development projects like construction of LPG plant, Upstream facilities expansion, Fabrication and Erection of LPG Bullets etc.

As a QA/QC Manager based in Abu Dhabi Operational Base, my responsibility is to review and approve all the relevant Vendors Documentation, Liaising with various Discipline Engineers for QA/QC Input, attend some mandatory inspections at Vendors facilities with TECHNIP EPC during the Supply Items fabrication stages and reporting to Project Manager with following responsibilities.

Follow up, Review & approval of various QC/NDT Documentation, Technical Queries raised from Site after liaising with Discipline Vendors.
Follow up of Missing Materials at site, Trouble shooting from Engineering point of view in liaison with Head of Engineering, & follow up of necessary procurement activities for the same if required.
Witnessing some Mandatory inspection Stages at Vendor Workshop facilities.
