Creating various combinations of mud used in different stages of drilling process.
Conducting standardized testing to change mud's viscosity and adjusting the temperature, PH balance and chemical components.
Injection and application of scale & corrosion inhibitors, biocides, hydrogen sulphide scavengers and other production chemicals & mud conditioning additives.
Assisted by Senior Mud Engineer at the drilling location to develop knowledge and ability to cope without supervision in the near future.

Hands-on experience include:

Supervised the process department in the operational team for smooth and uninterrupted operation of three phase separation unit, gas sweetening unit, gas dehydration unit, dew point reduction unit, LPG recovery unit, condensate stabilization unit and sulphur recovery unit.

General safety of plant including hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide and sulphur plant safety, precautionary measures and good work practices along with critical vigilance of all allied utilities and off-sites such as cooling water system, raw water system, instrument air compressors, gas turbines, hot oil system, steam generation system, demineralization unit and handling of LPG and NGL bullets for storage and dispatch of these products as per inventory levels.

Role & Responsibilities:

Ensuring safe & smooth operation, monitoring and troubleshooting of plant.
Emergency handling and follow up plant startup and shut down activities.
Process optimization, debottlenecking studies and production planning.
Performing tests and basic engineering calculations to monitor performance.
Analyzing daily production data and lab report to provide data to engineering teams.
Ensuring product sale gas specifications according to the contractual limits.
Evaluating equipment and processes to ensure compliance with EH&S requirements.
HAZOP & risk assessment studies and implementing energy conservation steps.
