• Prepare and submit invoicing/progress claims and expedite payment.
• Keep track of all changes and variations to the contract and ensure to seek agreement for payment from the client for the additional cost prior to carrying out the work.
• Responsible for Progress measurement, monthly valuations, variations, calculation and approval of Star Rates.
• Responsible for tracking costs on the project and ensuring that the CCS (Cost Control Schedule) is kept up to date on a monthly basis.
• Assist with preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Assist with costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
• Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
• Assist with preparing monthly interim payment certificates.
• Assist with Preparation of EOT (extension of Time) claims if necessary.
• Keep detailed record of any delays due to client and submit the corresponding claim.
• Provide management with required information to facilitate drafting and submittal /follow up of variation orders.
• Review and monitor project insurances, bonds and guarantees.
• Assist with monthly material reconciliation(in conjunction with site storekeeper).

As a Cost Engineer/Quantity Surveyor supply service to CHEVRON – CABGOC (Cabinda Gulf Oil Company) for Existing Dock Replacement Project at Cabinda Malongo, Angola West Africa.
Supervise and/or execute the following;

• To work safely and be proactive in the application of CABGOC SWPs( Safe Work Practices)
• Review and certify monthly valuations (VOWD) based on verification of physical milestones.
• Prepares monthly cost report which includes amounts being paid to Contractor and CABGOC Project costs.
• Produce Overall Monthly Cost Report utilizing JD Edwards (E1) Accounting System.
• Prepares cost-to-go forecast based from known project requirements to uphold financial health of contract activities during the construction period.
• Produce Monthly Accrual Calculations and submit to Finance Team on updates of Sponsor Estimates for Capital and Expense AFEs.
• Checking and verifying of all invoices from contractors utilizing ARIBA system.
• Maintain close liaison with Contractor in order to work effectively and team up with different disciplines sharing knowledge on subject matters of common interest.
