Summary

A Multi-discipline Quantity Surveyor with over 10 years experience in oil & gas, petrochemical plant construction, offshore platform fabrication (Topside and Sub-structures) and offshore SIMOPS/Brownfield installation projects. Working as part of Client/PMT, EPC/Main Contractor, Subcontractor Company comprises my experiences. Duties and Responsibilities – Fabrication Yard Assignment

Work under Project Services Department and a part of Project Management Team (PMT) that oversees the Fabrication/erection of Topsides, Barge Deck and Substructure Modules. Duties and responsibilities includes: Reviewing/evaluating Contractor’s Weekly Progress Claims to ensure quantities matches with reported/recorded actual quantities executed on site. Conduct weekly joint progress measurement/assessment on site with Contractor QS counterpart to assess and agree on the percentage of work done. Record work done on site and highlight items on drawings. Conduct independent day to day monitoring, assessment and recording of the actual work done on site. Interface with other group within PMT and contractor to ensure an integrated oversight of project activities associated with contracting. Supervise the operator of 4D Invision Report in updating the Model drawing to ensure it correctly reflects actual work done on site. Other duties associated with QS function.

Duties and Responsibilities – Offshore Assignment

Work under Project Services Department and a part of Project Management Team (PMT) that oversee/monitors for the execution of brownfield package for installation/erection of new structures, installation/tie-in/welding of new pipes and installation/cabling of new E&I installations. Furthermore, we also monitor the carry-over works of new Platform. Duties and responsibilities includes: Daily monitoring, assessment and recording/highlight items on drawing for actual work done on site. Daily collection of contractor’s timesheets and recording manpower work order allocation. Preparing daily summary report of percentage work done on site and manpower allocation and provide the figure to planner to be incorporated on Daily Progress Report (DPR). Work closely with Site Planner, Construction Lead and Construction Supervisors to provide required quantity information from the day to day Contractor activities. Work with onshore Projects Services Team to supply required report/information required for cost reporting and other project reports. Remotely supervise the operator of 4D Invision Report in updating the Model drawing to ensure it correctly reflects actual work done on site. Other duties associated with offshore QS function.
