2011 – 2013 Home Homeownership Lots – Jubail project
• Phase I: Construction of Infrastructures and 494 villas
• Area of 1,5 hectares
• Project Cost: USD 144 Million

BI-28-10012 provides for the Home Ownership Lot Development,
Phase I, at Al-Mutrafiah, Jubail Industrial City in the Eastern
Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, per the approved
Preliminary Scoping Paper (PSP). Under this project, Home
Ownership (H/O) Lot Development will be carried out in Two
(2) Phases namely Phase I and Phase II.

Al-Mutrafiah, the project site (Phase I & II) will be developed
to accommodate construction of 838 housing lots. Phase – I
will accommodate 494, in total, varying lot sizes for housing units
for sectors F1-1, F1-2 and F1-3 and in addition, three (3) local
Day mosques. Out of which, a total of 344 housing units will
be constructed under Phase – II. Phase – I, shall be constructed
in Two (2) Stages namely Initial & Final site development.
My role was as follows:

 Managed design of all infrastructures with designers to final documents (IFC),
 Coordinated with all services providers including Royal Commission, SEC and MARAFIQ for formal approval of IFC,
 Preparation of all contract documents for Initial and Final Site development Contracts, as well as the PMC (Consultant) Contract
 Supported the bids evaluation and awarding of contracts

The project covers construction of Gas and Oil Seperarator Plant (GOSP), Pump Station’s Stabilizer Upgrade, Pipelines (Approximately 450 Kms of 24”, 16”, 12” and 8” dia. Crude, sour gas and water lines), and Residential and Industrial Complex Expansion.

Civil work involvement for casting foundations, full thrust anchor blocks, pipe racks, platforms, paving slabs, asphalt works, fencing,…etc. Erection of steel structures, pipe supports, platforms and miscellaneous steel erection works. Piping and mechanical works involve trenching, stringing, welding, lowering, backfilling and berming, and hydro testing of all pipelines. The project involves also 28 nos. of hot taps on existing pipe lines.

My role was as follows:

• Design of the Harad crude pipeline, from the concept to the final / detail design,
• Design for the construction of Crude, Gas and Seawater Pipelines of approximately 300 KM.
Design stage for HARADH GAS GATHERING AND CRUDE PIPELINES INCREMENT III (BI-3177) AND SEAWATER PIPELINES INCREMENT III (PART OF BI-3176). The design period involved three stages: First stage the Project Proposal for the mentioned projects, which was finished within 8 weeks including site surveys and design of pipeline routes, design of all civil, mechanical, electrical,…works that are defined by the planning department of ARAMCO. The time limit was a challenge for all the team. The second stage was the detailed design for Administration Building involving all works to hand over the building. The third stage stage was the detailed design of the pipelines’ projects (after nominating the wining Contractor). Design for the construction of Crude, Gas and Seawater Pipelines of approximately 300 KM.
My role was as follows:
 Managed the design from concept to final design,
 Applied appropriate standard of design,
 Developed the schedule and manage assignment,

2002 - 2003 HARADH GAS GATHERING & CRUDE PIPELINES (JO: 31421), HARADH AL CRUDE INCREMENT II (JO: 82552) & HAWIYAH CENTRAL WIP (Under JO: 82551), HARADH, SAUDI ARABIA.

Complete construction of Crude, Gas and Sea Water Pipelines for approximately 88 KM (JO: 31421) and 130 KM (JO: 82552). The projects involve around 600,000 M3 of rock excavation, verification and calculation of rock quantities. A major civil work involvement for casting foundations, full thrust anchor blocks, pipe racks, platforms, paving slabs, asphalt works, fencing,…etc. Erection of steel structures, pipe supports, platforms and miscellaneous steel erection works.
