IIn charge of the quality control/assurance department of the project (Abu Dhabi Plaza - ADP) in Astana city (Kazakhstan). The project consists of a high rise tower of 75 stories including 4 basements as parking area, a 15 story 5 star hotel, one mini towers of 16, two 30 story towers and a 206,000 sq. m two stories mall. The team I am managing is a group of 70 members including the certification and handing over team. My duties include but not limited to:
• Manage the application of the quality management system.
• Manage the application of the project quality plan, specifications, Inspection and test plans at the site and the methods of construction statements.
• Control the non-conformances and discrepancies at the site through daily surveillances.
• Control the quality of the materials that are used in the project (Civil, Architectural and MEP) and perform the required tests to insure the compatibility with the specifications for all disciplines (Civil, Architectural and MEP).
• Run regular and spot internal audits to the project departments / sections and the sub-trades in order to maintain the best application of the quality management system.
• Attend meetings with the quality department team, construction team, project management, sub-contractors, and with the client.
• Manage for the commissioning and the handover of the project at early stages including the tagging system, the as built and the red line marking drawings.
