Responsibilities and duties:
• Construction management of utilities, highways, underpasses, tunnels, substations, monitor and control the work in accordance with design specification and contract documents.
• Review the contractor’s shop drawing and method statement of utility services and highway roads
• Review the contractor’s submitted Request for information (Technical query), Project Management Plan, Inspection and testing plan
• Check the clash analysis of various utility services in the project and approve the resolution based on complying design requirements
• Co-ordinate with contractor and PMC to resolve the conflicts arising due to clash of utility services.
• Checking and updating of redline drawings and as-built drawings
• Identify and manage project construction risks
• Technical co-ordination with other discipline heads to confirm integrity of entire design; Ensure the interfacing of utilities with other contract works
• Provide subject matter expertise in all relevant technical matters relating to the delivery of works and support the decision-making process appropriately
• Managing of site engineers, QA/QC Inspectors, surveyors, safety officer and monitoring site progress.
• Co-ordinate with QA/QC management team and ensure contractor maintain quality requirements.
• Review the contractor’s daily, weekly, monthly progress report.
• Reporting to SRE regularly
